Many of us go through life unaware of how we sabotage ourselves from getting what we need and want. We know life isn’t unfolding the way we want it to and we don’t know how to change it. This is where sharing our story and struggles with a qualified other can help.
In my role as a psychotherapist, I take the time to really understand you, not just by listening to your words, but by seeing you as a whole person—mind, body and spirit--within the context of your life story. I am alert to and act on opportunities that will deepen your understanding of yourself. I help you to process unresolved grief, loss and trauma and become aware of and disengage from old patterns of behaviour that are no longer useful to you.
I am respectful, mindful and compassionate. I slow you down so that you can hear what you are saying to yourself. I value the emotional memories that you hold and honour your inner wisdom and strength.
